My favorite location! Very tasty and appetizing dishes, large selection and fast service!

For € 14 you get a half-filled pizza in your hand. What's that about? If you like toppings on your pizza, you should look elsewhere.

Order on the Internet and it was made available at the agreed time. All pizzas were delicious. What a shame about the many packaging materials. Rocket in extra packaging, but of course speaks for high quality.

I like it, good teast qnd quality

It was a really great evening with you. It is best to reserve seats, as there is always a lot going on. Your restaurant was full. The waiter who was responsible for us was very thoughtful, extremely friendly, came several times to ask if everything was okay. The drinks had just been ordered and they were already on the table. The food is delicious with you. I can only recommend you. Keep it up...... Until next time.

Food tasted very good. Service was very nice and attentive. But it is very noisy in the restaurant.

It was delicious and the service was very friendly too. I had a pizza and it was huge and absolutely delicious. I would go there again because the price was right, as was the taste.

Location gets the grade one, for the operation there is "only" a two because it was very taciturn and some questions had to be asked several times. The food was very much in terms of quantity, but rather satisfied in terms of taste. Main course prices started at € 9.

We spent a lovely evening here. Pizzas are huge and delicious. The staff do a great job. In a good mood despite the mask and trying to make sure that the customer is fine. Great value for money.

The food was delicious and the service very friendly. The pasta portions are a little smaller but just the thing if you don't want to get your stomach full late in the evening. The atmosphere is nice and the space is very open.

As always, it was already good in other branches but it always tastes good. The staff was friendly. But outside it is already very dark in the evening, a little light would make it more pleasant.

I can only agree with the positive reviews! There are very nice seats and a super brisk and friendly staff. The choice of food is very pleasant, especially the pizzas. These have a particularly large diameter, which means that the edge even protrudes beyond the plate. In addition, my children were even able to share a pizza that could be topped up according to individual wishes. Because you often can't make a giant pizza like this on your own. So I had my seafood pizza and my wife wrapped hers with spinach and egg. Very fond of!

Great food, all fresh ingredients, and the pizzas are humongous. The desserts and the fresh-made lemonade are also excellent. So make sure to bring a big hunger - or share with a friend :-)

Very friendly staff. Great food and drinks reasonably priced. The noise level in the restaurant is a bit loud. It is very pleasant outside. You should definitely make a reservation. Corona rules are implemented very well. Will be happy to eat there again.

Oh man, sorry .... but the pizza doesn't work at all, cheap ingredients, salami tastes like bread, dough without taste, the main thing is big. Nice service, shop full, reminds me of the Einstein in Hamburg. When hunger is gone, you don't want to eat any more. Never again Picture says it all

As usual, no matter where until now (Hamburg, Berlin, Rostock) - simply very good! Recipes consistently well implemented, all products at the same good level. Price performance very good, clearly a recommendation.

08.09.2020 What a lousy way of dealing with the guests who keep the shop running. But first things first: My wife's Pizza Rusticana should be a little spicy when asked. In fact, it was so spicy that it was inedible. Afterwards it turned out that it was completely seasoned with chilli. My pizza degli artisti was charred in several places on the edge of the dough, was softened more and more towards the middle so that it was still raw in the center. Despite my meticulous search, I neither saw nor tasted the anchovies, but I paid for them. The additionally ordered serving of artichokes for 0.80 € turned out to be two ridiculously small eighths of the vegetables. What a cheeky rip-off! As a universal answer from the kitchen, regarding the complaints just described, came the unfortunate, embarrassing amateur statement: "That's the way it is here". How incredibly disappointing. Only the female waitress (name has unfortunately been omitted, sorry) has internalized the service concept, wanted to improve in our favor and within her possibilities, but was refused by the kitchen. Conclusion: L´Osteria- quantity beats quality - never again.

Really good located.

Unfortunately it has become very rude. Reservations are made at 7 p.m. There is a line of 20 people outside. The reserved table is given away and you are asked to queue up outside and wait. Always loved to eat there but now definitely never again!

Nice place with good coffee

This place is really favourite by locals. Sometimes you must wait for a while to get there. But it´s worth to wait. Service is fast. Prices are fine. Pizza is awesome and pasta is excellent! Thank you. Greetings from the Czech Republic.

I tried it for the first time but I did not have a good experience. 1- Staff were not friendly at all. At least the ones that we encountered with. 2- Pizza's bread was burned 😐. And unfortunately I read it before in the previous reviews and here I confirmed that. Overall, It won’t be my choice next time. I hope they improve the food quality despite the good place and get better reviews.

On July 15th we visited the restaurant. Outside we were greeted very nicely and invited. Our waiter inside was completely the opposite. The cutlery, our drinks were just "thrown" to us. The saying and our orders were also accepted in a way that has nothing to do with friendliness. You felt more uncomfortable than safe. However, the food tasted really good!

Very tasty and friendly service. We ate spaghetti bolognese with pizza bread. It was wonderful. There is a baby changing room and the sanitary facilities are super clean. So it is fun to eat with the baby.

To be honest worst L'Osteria that i ever visited. 1st, they keep price on same level as west germany. 2nd, they are light years away from west german quality level. What they call pizza is on west side called tacco roll up pizza. Basically, rostock pizza with 6 slices of salami, 4 pepperoni and 4 leaves of petersilien will cost you 11,50eur. Simply said, its a joke. Best part is, this place is more like "over-hyped-i-was-there-out-last-night" spot then what it originally should be, place to eat and eat quality. In west germany that is how they (ab)use starbucks lounges. Buy a coffee and lick it for hours.

Good, every day Italian style food. Wonderful environment with open kitchen.

My favourite Italian restaurant in Rostock. I like the place and the atmosphere in the restaurant, it seems a true Milanese pizzeria, and not a just an ordinary Italian restaurant abroad. The pizza is excellent, very large (often one pizza for two people is enough) and flat and crunch. Also the pasta dishes and the risottos are very tasty. Definitely, one of the best places in Rostock where to eat.

Very nice decor. Pleasant service. It was very loud in there and our pasta was very average, bland. We should have went with the pizza, it looked good.

To put it into one word - amazing. The ambient was immersive, the staff energetic and friendly and the food just right. It's an Italian restaurant, but for how much up north in Germany it is, it was surprising how authentic Italian the food seemed. The pizza we had was tasty, thin crust and flavorful toppings - just like I ate them in Italy. The kitchen is also open so you can see what is being made at all times. Will go there again if I ever return. Definetly recommend.

I was there for the first time and the Service was very rude to us. I told that my Pizza was burned and the waiter acted like he doesn't care at all and asked me if I'm going to pay with card or cash! Beside the burned pizza, I ordered BBQ Chicken and I had to wait like more than 30min on my order and there were just few pieces of chicken (litterly you can count them) on the whole Pizza. I couldn't eat the pizza, because there were so many onions and paprika only on the right side and they tasted really old. I left more than the half of the pizza not eaten, because the the waiter's attitude got me very mad. I heard really good stuff about the restaurant, but literally the whole experience was a big disappointment :( And also only one piece of lemon on a big pizza, is this a joke?
